The book "The Golden Bough" was really an eye-opener for me! Fraser takes us to explore the evolutionary trajectory of the human spirit through comparative analysis of various sources. His insight is simply amazing! However, some of the characters' behavior in the book really annoyed me. But it also demonstrates the author's deep understanding of human behavior and the heart. Overall, "The Golden Bough" is like a key, opening a new door for us to understand human beings. I think its value is comparable to "History of the Peloponnesian War" and "Origin of Species"!
