This book introduces the techniques and systems of ancient Chinese architecture in detail, with detailed content and clear arrangement. The author Li Jie's professional knowledge in the field of architecture is admirable. However, for a non-professional reader like me, some of the technical terms in the book are a bit difficult to understand. But overall, this is a good book worth reading, especially for anyone interested in ancient Chinese architecture.

After reading this book, my biggest impression is that it turns out that all the architecture of the Ming and Qing Dynasties existed in the Song Dynasty, and it was still the paradigm set by the Song Dynasty.
