This book is wonderful! I particularly like Verin, the main character in the book, who is strong in his beliefs but also confused as he searches for the truth. It reminds me of Jon Snow in Game of Thrones, both of whom are trying to find their place in a complicated world. Moreover, the descriptions in the book are very vivid, especially the part about the Shadow of the Raven, which made me feel like I was in that mysterious world. I can't wait to read book 2!
I have read all three of them, watched one in detail, and skipped to watch the second and third. I like Fourniers the most, but it's a pity that there are so few descriptions about him. Verin, he is a hero and a warrior, he has received countless honors, and has countless followers, but politics and conspiracies are like dark clouds that never dissipate, always covering him.
I really like words, or translation. Parts 1, 2 and 3 like the first one the best, Parts 2 and 3 are more fantasy, and one is more realistic. Those wonderful songs seem to be just a fantasy in the protagonist's mind. Parts 2 and 3 show a fantasy world with various talents, the constant resurrection of the big boss's allies and his minions.
