How many lovestruck young women, newly wed, yearn to wear the “red wedding gown” of their dreams as they walk down the aisle? How many sincere young men are utterly devoted to winning their beloved’s heart and seeing her wear that “red wedding gown”? In a poor mountain village, the simple men and women once saw love’s “red wedding gown” bring countless joys and sorrows, laughter and tears. The Jin family of Jingerwa Village, across three generations, from the grandmother to the mother and then to Jin Wang himself, were repeatedly deceived on the road to marriage by hateful human traffickers, their poverty and ignorance leaving them vulnerable. Their love ended in tragedy, with both their money and their loved ones lost. Jin Wang is an honest, down-to-earth mountain farmer, cruelly swindled by unscrupulous traffickers. He became a victim of love. Jin Wang is but one example of countless people who have been deceived and misled. Through his cries and awakening, the conscience of countless others may be roused. Evil will not have its way forever.
