Evolution Online

A practice piece to test the waters. Don’t read it. I’ve switched platforms, and updates will be irregular.

*An entirely original world and setting, with no cliched tropes

*Grotesque aesthetics

*At least two of these three are crazy: the author, the protagonist, and the readers

*I won’t abandon the story or pad it out

*Build a new world. Don’t link it to reality

*Fantasy horror

*Supernatural abilities

*No romance. This is a little corner for like-minded fans. Some bonds are stronger than love.

*Male protagonist

*The full scope of the setting will be revealed after the first main story arc ends

[The countries in this novel form a world map laid out from China’s dynasties, and famous historical figures will appear]

[Important] The level of economic development is modern, as are the clothing styles and attitudes, but the cultures have some historical connections.

Zhu Yan, a student from Taoyuan No. 3 High School, recently received flowers from a strange girl. He stood silently, saying nothing. The next day, while he was still baffled, he received flowers from a strange middle-aged man (plump but not greasy, and looking like a successful entrepreneur) and a strange elderly gentleman (cultured and refined, seemingly a professor), as well as a white chrysanthemum from a boy wearing a baseball cap and face mask.

The urban legend of the [Goat Man] wandering the street corners at night is circulating in Uter.

A mysterious invitation from the [Heavenly Secrets Pavilion]

Jiang Yuyan points at Chen and says [the ribs of a god]

The [Moving Maze] that appears only at night

The outbreak of the [Equal Rights Movement]

A strange case of people going missing

What strange connection could there be between all of these?

[Dear 12551, I’m your director, Liu Qianxi.] Liu Qianxi said to Chen Cunyu, [There are gods three feet above your head.]

Your [director] may be passing right by you.
