Year After Year, I Think of Those Glorious Days

[Sweet romance] + [everyday life] + [mutual devotion] + [family life] + [devoted one-on-one romance] + [bickering lovers] + [marriage]

Life is short. I don’t dare hope my love will be perfect like a fairy tale, or expect it to be especially romantic or extravagant.

I only hope I can be with the person I love in peace and spend the rest of our lives together.

I don’t know what love is. I only know that when I’m with the one I love, I can laugh so happily, like an innocent, naive child who has never known hardship.

I miss his nagging when he’s in a bad mood.

The hugs he gives me when I’m down.

How cute he is when he’s being playful.

Everything about him becomes a picture in my mind, one I can keep forever.

One night, a shooting star streaked across the sky. He asked me what I had wished for.

I said, “To spend every year with you, for all our years to come.”
