Five years after transmigrating into a physical body on Blue Star (two periods of two and a half years), Bai Ziyu is running a street stall when he suddenly meets a fellow Earthling and is chosen to return to Earth's underground to take part in a trial.
It is now the year 3028 on Earth. A thousand years have passed, and Earth has undergone its sixth mass extinction. It has long since become unrecognizable to Bai Ziyu.
Earth is now filled with radiation and mutated genetically modified organisms, including mutated humans. The native humans on the Moon hope to "cleanse" Earth, while Blue Star, on the other side of the spatial passage, has also begun its invasion.
And so Bai Ziyu takes part in the trial arranged by his fellow Earthlings, seeking to uncover the truth behind the source of the mutations, while going undercover on Blue Star to play the crafty schemer and gather intelligence.
Thus begins the legendary adventure of an expert schemer.
His first love, who has lived for a thousand years, has become the saintess of the mutated humans, while his direct superior is their goddess.
Two planets, four factions, each with its own agenda.
Genetic evolution, mechanical ascension, fantastical supernatural powers, and ancient immortal sects: each has its own strengths, yet they all lead to the same destination.
If reproduction is the ultimate goal of all living things, then war is the eternal, unchanging theme of civilization.
