Honkai, Then I Picked Up a Female Herrscher

[White-haired fox-eared beast girl heroine (single heroine) + an ancient from over two thousand years ago awakens supernatural powers + the previous civilization’s destruction + revisiting history + protagonist with multiple personalities + various plans to save the world (no villains)]

[The early story isn’t really a Honkai fanfic (it only incorporates settings like Herrschers and Divine Keys). It’s an urban fantasy story set in the Honkai universe. The System tags were added by mistake, so if you’re only here for fanfic, please don’t click in. Thanks.]

[Many Honkai characters will appear later, and I promise not to ruin their characterization or put them through tragedy. If you like Honkai, feel free to give it a look too (I’m not just pretending to know the series).]

[This story takes liberties with history, but the outcomes of the dynasties’ development and the relationships between historical figures remain unchanged. No Yuan or Qing dynasties (please don’t read if that bothers you).]

In this world, “Honkai” is a disaster that occurs periodically.

It happens once every few hundred years.

Honkai takes unpredictable forms: war, infectious disease, climate disasters, comet impacts, and more.

According to the ancient texts, it can only be described as the unfathomable will of the gods. But whatever form it takes, the result is always mass extinction among the world’s dominant species.

The last Honkai took the form of World War II, directly or indirectly killing most of the global population.

This Honkai took the form of mutation, directly bringing about the destruction of the world.

My name is Wan Nian.

I am human, a mutant, a demon, and a god.

I betrayed the gods for humanity, becoming a traitor to the divine.

If one day you discovered that this world was false and its history had been altered, what would you do?
