[Historical fantasy / win-her-back romance / devoted favoritism]
Jiang Zhi was the youngest daughter in her family and had been doted on since childhood. One day, a prince came to their home, a prince rumored not to live past the age of twenty-five.
Later, when the third prince usurped the throne and ordered the extermination of the entire Jiang clan,
this frail, sickly prince unexpectedly led an army to kill his brother and seize the throne, saving the entire Jiang family.
He drew Jiang Zhi into his arms, carefully, as if afraid of frightening her. “Jiaojiao, don't be afraid. You're the empress now.”
Only later did she learn that Yan Sili had been plotting to win her over all along.
Years later, Jiang Zhi looked at Yan Sili, who still hadn't died, and felt a headache coming on.
“Why are you still alive?”
“Because I can't bear to leave you, Jiaojiao.”
I hope Shen Qingqing can have the only Jiang Zhi in her next life
The author's writing style is really good. Although the first part is a bit boring, the second part really surprised me. There are many supporting characters in this book that I can't help but feel uncomfortable with. The one that makes me feel uncomfortable the most is Shen Qingqing. He really made me cry to death😭
I want the extra story about Shen Qing's happy ending
