Commentary on the Zhouyi Collection (Two Volumes)

The traditional "Book of Changes" is mainly divided into two schools: Xiang Shu Yi and Yi Li Yi. In the Han and Wei dynasties, Xiang Shu Yi was the main school. Since Wang Bi came out, Yi Li Yi flourished, while Xiang Shu Yi declined. Its theory was preserved in the "Collected Commentary of Zhou Yi" by Li Dingzuo of Tang Dynasty. "The Supplementary Commentary to the Book of Changes" (two volumes in total) mainly contains the Xiangshuyi studies of the Han and Tang dynasties. It explains the "Zhouyi" with explanations such as Najia, Gua Qi, Hutei, and Yaobian. It is the most important book for understanding the Xiangshuyi. Cao Yuanbi gave a supplementary explanation to "The Collection of Book of Changes". Although he still focused on the study of Yi, he did not pay special attention to Najia, Guaqi, etc. He focused on the mutuality and line changes, and the end result was the realization of economics through the universe. The argument was relatively peaceful and full of meaning. It was not only a supplement to the "Collection of Book of Changes", but also an excellent work for understanding and studying "The Book of Changes".
