I especially like the historical stories in it, each one is so exciting and allows me to understand the wisdom and courage of the ancients. However, I kind of hate those tyrants, their cruelty is heartbreaking. This reminds me of Cao Cao in "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms". Although he is a capable ruler, his methods are also very cruel. Overall, "Up and Down Five Thousand Years" is a book worth reading. It gave me a deeper understanding of Chinese history.
Yes, school history.
Knowledge of history makes sense, and good books are recommended!
