The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

Mark Twain was an American writer and the founder of American critical realism literature. He created numerous works throughout his life, most of which were set along the Mississippi River, reflecting the American social environment in the late 19th century. "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" is a children's literary novel with a somewhat autobiographical nature. When conceived of the novel, Mark Twain recalled his childhood spent in Hannibal, so he decided to use his hometown as the stage and his own experience as a model to tell the adventure story of a little boy. From this, the lively and naughty Tom was born. Hundreds of years later, this book still accounts for half of children's literature.

His adventures reminded me of some interesting things from my own childhood. Moreover, Tom's optimism and bravery in the face of difficulties also inspired me a lot. I think this book is not only suitable for children, but also allows adults to better understand children's inner world.
