Your Humble Servant Is Guilty

Being an imperial physician means low pay and high risk.

Maybe I could occasionally take on a side job for some extra cash, like helping the Crown Princess abort the Western Palace Consort's child, or buying the emperor some aphrodisiacs for the Western Palace Consort. And somehow, all the work involves vile deeds that go against the principles of medicine.

I told the emperor I wanted to quit. He said, "If you don't want to be an imperial physician, then become the empress."

I said, "Your Majesty, my poor medical skills are no reason to insult me!"

Your humble servant will neither perform for money nor sell himself!
