A Fated Bond Between Immortal and Mortal

When chaos first took shape, immortals, gods, mortals, demons, and monsters each followed their own paths.

But as the years passed, the divine race continued to grow stronger. In time, the gods went from following their own paths to uniting the Three Realms under their rule. All the laws of Heaven came from Yuan, the master of the True God Hall, the divine race’s true god. It took the gods twenty thousand years. That year was named the first year of the True God Era.

But the other races refused to submit to the gods’ rule. Thus, wars to slay the gods broke out in years 222, 444, and 666 of the True God Era. Though the gods crushed all three wars with their overwhelming power, the deaths of so many true gods gave the other races a glimmer of hope for victory.

By the year 888 of the True God Era, a new war to slay the gods was quietly brewing. To save the gods’ crumbling rule, Yuan, master of the True God Hall, secretly descended to the mortal world and found Wen Ling, the reincarnation of the Chaos Sword God. He hoped this would save the divine race’s rule.
