"Hand Drawn Chinese Folklore" is a set of popular science picture books created by local authors. It divides China's most representative intangible cultural heritage into four volumes according to type: traditional drama, folk art, music and dance, and sports and acrobatics. There are 24 items in total, and each volume introduces 6 items. Taking the study tour of Yueyue and Liangliang as the story line, it tells the story of how a three-generation family experienced "intangible cultural heritage" activities. Each project has several sections to introduce "intangible cultural heritage" activities, legends, practical operations and other small knowledge. Each project also selects poems and nursery rhymes suitable for children to recite. This book is very good! I particularly like the stories in it, especially the study tour of Yueyue and Liangliang, which reminded me of the good times I had with my family when I was a child. Moreover, the book also introduces a lot of knowledge about folk art, which is very helpful for children to understand traditional Chinese culture. What I hate the most is those who destroy intangible cultural heritage. They don't know the value of these cultures at all. I hope our intangible cultural heritage can be better protected and passed on.
