In fact, Teacher Yi's book tells history in his own way. If you have read the Twenty-Four Histories or other ancient world histories, this book is not very readable. But for ordinary people, Teacher Yi's summarizing ability is particularly strong. He can summarize a very complicated matter in concise language and in a clear manner, which is very helpful for beginners. However, I personally think that the way he writes is sometimes a bit convoluted and not concise enough. And I personally don't agree with many of the views in the book. Therefore, I personally feel that we should not pay attention to too many opinions in the book, but focus more on the popularization of knowledge.

You don't have to agree with his thoughts. You might even think that he is superficial in some areas. But you can't deny that his views on some issues give you a unique perspective on thinking. So it's a very good book.
