[Half-Buddhist, Half-Obsessive, Good-for-Nothing Artist ✖️ The Universe’s Number One Sweet-Talking Ambassador]
Lin Muqing, a worldly scholar with a villainous streak, has always been seen by others as a girl chasing the wind. She decides to wage war on the world until death. Before the wind arrives, she figures she should find an obedient little lamb to use as a stepping stone: a low-effort marriage where she can do as little as possible, pursue her own interests, and build the life she wants.
But the mild-mannered domestic man she thinks is so refined that he can’t say a sentence without a polite form of address is only pretending to be harmless. He advances by retreating, breaks through her defenses, and throws her into confusion. Just as she’s beginning to fall for him, he abruptly changes his usual demeanor and leads her around in circles.
Lin Muqing: “If you’ve got the guts, make it public. Neither of us gets an escape route.”
He Yingchuan deliberately puts on a thoughtful look. “Let’s wait and see.”
Mutual devotion, a little angst for flavor, so much sweetness it’ll make singles wince, lighthearted and fun, with the truth always prevailing.
I read this book accidentally. When I started reading it, I thought I could still read it. Later on, I found that I really liked the characters of the male and female protagonists more and more. They were both very in line with my taste. The whole book is not ridiculous, and the writing is also very good. I will recommend it to my friends. The author is really great.
This novel is very interesting!
Not bad, worth recommending.
