After the Anshi Rebellion, I can only dream of returning to the prosperous Tang Dynasty. Concubine Yang is no longer in Huaqing Pool, and Emperor Ming of the Tang Dynasty no longer conducts "The Song of Colorful Clothes and Feather Clothes." The shaky empire is barely holding on, with eunuchs monopolizing power, internal strife among courtiers, barbarians adding obstructions, and vassal towns being separatist. Huang Chao, who was a private salt dealer, kicked the Tang Dynasty again with the peasant uprising. In 907 AD, the two hundred and eighty-nine-year-old empire finally breathed its last. Why did the Anshi Rebellion happen? Why is the process of counterinsurgency so long? Why did the powerful Tang Empire turn from prosperity to decline? To answer these questions and understand that period of history, please read "Yi Zhongtian's History of China Volume 16: The An-Shi Rebellion".

I have read several books of Mr. Yi's Chinese history intermittently. Mr. Yi may be selling books. He extracted each period of history into a book. It is a book of 50,000 to 80,000 words. It is very short. I thought that extracting it separately would make the description more impactful, vivid and interesting, but Unfortunately for such a short book, it feels like a running account. I learned that it is a relatively short history, and it is a bit tiring to read. I am personally a fan of Mr. Yi and like his humorous language style. However, the current history of China is indeed very average. In my humble opinion. Don't spray if you don't like it!
