Darling, Just Focus on Being Adorable

The idea for this book came one day after I gave birth. On a warm winter afternoon, my husband and I sat beside the stroller, looking at our sleeping daughter and smiling at each other.

I thought back to our dramatic first meeting, and how, after we got together, he became the perfect boyfriend, spoiling me endlessly.

Married life has been just as wonderful. We each work hard and are evenly matched in our careers. We travel together, taking in all kinds of scenery along the way.

In this very real, everyday world, there has to be some way to record the life that belongs to us.

Those sparkling days were filled with hope and happiness made special by little rituals. We both worked hard, and together we earned a light of our own among the thousands of lights glowing in the night.

We’ve encountered so much warmth along the way. I’m so glad to have you by my side in the years to come!
