Qi Ba said that after getting to know Zhan Qingyun, she felt that she was very inspirational but also egoistic and an "elite" in the modern sense. Her debates were always full of rationality, which was very different from the emotional style of other debaters. After reading this book, I seem to be able to understand why she behaves like this. One of my favorite quotes: "Success in the world is the path, but not the answer. You must use this success to pursue more freedom, a richer life, and a larger world. But in this long journey, you still have to live every day, enjoy, learn, play, love and be happy."
"While I am young, I have to force myself." How to understand this sentence? The author Zhan Qingyun gave a very clear explanation in the book. "Reluctance" is not rebellion or fighting against the world, but not being bound by his rules and regulations and trying to follow your own heart. After reading this book, I would like to express my superficial opinions on this sentence. I think that the so-called "I must be stubborn while I am young" means that while there is still youthful vigor and self-motivation, and there is not too much trial and error, the cost is low, try hard and develop your greatest potential. Maybe everyone will have a different understanding after reading it. Everyone should read it and think about it.
This book "While I'm Young, I Have to Force It" is Zhan Qingyun's autobiography, and it is also an examination and reflection of her past life. From the girls in factories and mines in Guizhou, all the way to Hong Kong, to Harvard, to the screen... Every step is the result of Ta'an's hard work. In the process of reading this book, there were too many moments when I felt the same and felt embarrassed. There are two parts that moved me particularly. One is the story she wrote about her parents. The other one is Zhan Qingyun's story about studying and studying. Reading "Zhuangzi", "Laozi" and "The Analects of Confucius" on the New York subway, writing lyrics and music for the characters in "A Dream of Red Mansions", and reading "Zi Zhi Tong Jian" for ten minutes a day for four consecutive years from the end... It sounds like something that ordinary people can't do. How did she do it?
The writings written by Harvard academics are very down-to-earth and very true expressions. It's just that the difference in academic qualifications does not make people feel how "inaccessible" Ajan's autobiography is. The stories inside are also very real and interesting. Stories about childhood, travel, and reading are all very real. We can also learn about Ajan's views on some things and his attitude towards life from these stories. This is very valuable.
I feel that the author has very clear and positive ideas to face life, which is very powerful. Then regarding the interpretation of "Ji" and "Wei Ji" in the Book of Changes, my thoughts suddenly became enlightened. Life is a map that always has blank spaces, and the scope of what we discover and record is constantly expanding. In this process, we can face ourselves more sincerely, constantly improve ourselves, achieve self-growth, and live actively.
Maybe it's because they come from the same place, or maybe it's the author's sincere attitude, which makes people feel that reading this book is very cordial. Reading other people's reflections on life will make you feel that "the scenery you have never seen before" is not so unattainable.
I feel happy to be a half-immortal, which is pretty good
So close and so far. Zhan Qingyun in front of the screen seems to be telling her story in front of me through words at this moment, her opinions, equal dialogues, occasional resonances, and thought-provoking topics. Through words, I can get to know the different Zhan Qingyun and understand ourselves.
Thank you Azhan for your book, it has greatly cured my depressed heart. Thank you Azhan, I am grateful to have met you.
Ajan, I am a fan of your debate [blowing kiss][blowing kiss][shy]
I really like A Zhan's writing style. I never thought I could understand a person's life through a book.
I like it very much, thank you Ajan for giving me the strength
It's beautiful. Every detail is written down.
It's a very nice book, very relaxing, and makes people want to keep reading.
