Medicine Buddha is based on compassion and is willing to save all sentient beings and free them from suffering. By spreading the light and wisdom of compassion, he helps all sentient beings escape pain and disease and find inner peace and liberation.

The Buddha told Manjushri Bodhisattva that from now on (the place where the Dharma was preached at Vayali City), as far away as Shimagasha in the east, there is a Buddhaland world called Jingliuli. The sand in the Ganges River is the sand in the Ganges River. The Ganges River is the same as the Yellow River in China. There are countless sands in the river. Even if you live a hundred thousand lifetimes, you can't count them. The Buddha here compares a grain of sand to a world. Going east, there are as many worlds as ten Ganges rivers of sand. It is so far away, I don't know how far it is.
