Lord of the Ten Thousand Beasts

Xiao Mu was once the young master of the Xiao family in Nanluo City, with a brilliant future and every advantage. At just nine years old, he had already reached the Soul Warrior level and was ready to contract his first pet beast. But someone forced a beast contract on him, placing a pet that endlessly absorbed human souls inside him. He had to train relentlessly, or the pet could drain him dry at any moment. He could only grow stronger, never weaker. Fall behind, and die.

At the same time, when the pet beast was implanted in him, the Xiao family suffered a devastating blow and was nearly destroyed. Xiao Mu escaped. Under an old agreement between his family and Southeast Academy, he went there. But families that held grudges against the Xiao family, or wanted to swallow it up, sent people to eliminate him. Even though he was now considered useless, they still wouldn't let him go. They intended to wipe out the entire family.
