[Food + building a career + heartwarming + adorable kids]
Not everyone who grows up by the sea is a child of the ocean. Some might not know how to swim at all.
And not everyone knocked unconscious by fate’s heavy hand gets to meet a transmigration or rebirth guru. Sometimes, it’s just a bad head wound.
Unfortunately, Tao Xiangyu, a native of the island, gets both.
In the prime of her youth, she gave up her education to marry a fisherman’s son who was a widower. Before long, she became a widow herself, left with two little burdens to raise. In an era when there’s no food, no drink, and no money, even a landlubber has to go out to sea. So what if she’s fishing? She’ll get used to it, even if she has to throw up along the way.
Transmigrate with a pocket dimension? What’s that?
Get a second chance at a failed life and come back with plenty of experience to take revenge? What’s that, too?
Never heard of it. Doesn’t exist.
Life has many obstacles: loss, separation, and regret. This little widow, born and raised by the sea, draws on the ocean’s gentle but unyielding strength to ride the winds and waves and overcome each one.
Perhaps, when she least expects it, the Sea God will show her mercy and grant this daughter of the sea a mysterious, miraculous skill that can turn stone into gold.
This little widow has no grand ambitions. She just wants to build a prosperous life, raise her children well, and become someone her family can rely on.
The article is quite heartwarming, but the heroine's thoughts and memories are too long, giving people the feeling that she is always distracted, so you need to be patient to read it.
This book is wonderfully written and I have read it over and over again. Like!
