Contradiction

I love you. I’ll give you anything you want.

Really? Then I want to leave you. I want you to let me go. Would you?

That’s the one thing I can’t do. You can’t leave me.

So don’t you think what you’re saying is contradictory?

I’ve been torn by contradictions all this time. I thought you wouldn’t love me, and I thought I’d never learned how to love you.

In the end, we fell in love and had a baby of our own.

I’m sure now. I love you, and I’m not conflicted anymore.
