This is the best Edgewalker fanfic I have ever read. It is not tied to the main plot, and it is also written in a flesh-and-blood, flavorful way. It doesn't have any of the abruptness of a magical adaptation, but instead makes people feel like it is the way it should be. This is the highest level of fanfic.
