The characters in this book have distinct personalities, with Ren Xiao's indifference and Lu Rover's enthusiasm forming a strong contrast. Their experiences are also very bumpy, especially Ren Xiao, who went from being a sharpshooter to being imprisoned and then having his family members murdered, which is really very sympathetic. I admire his courage and ability to fight back after he was released from prison. This book made me understand that no matter what difficulties we encounter, we must have the courage to face them, just like Ren Xiao and Lu Rover, who firmly guard their beliefs.
