Synopsis

"Ancient and Modern Medical Jian", published in 1576, was written by Gong Xin of the Ming Dynasty and continued by his son Gong Tingxian. The book was originally composed of 8 volumes, and the first edition is no longer available. The earliest existing version is a reprint in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, which was changed to 16 volumes. Qianliang Pulse Jue, pathogenesis, medicinal properties, and luck are the general part; and then the pulse, syndrome, treatment, and prescriptions of more than 100 clinical diseases and syndromes in internal medicine, external medicine, gynecology, pediatrics, and facial features are explained in categories.
