During Emperor Huizong's reign, Zhao Ji was obsessed with rare flowers and unusual rocks. He appointed inspectors across the Jiangnan region to search the people’s homes for flowers, rocks, bamboo, trees, and rare treasures. This was known as the “Flower and Stone Convoys.” Gao Zhizhou, an inspector for the Flower and Stone Convoys in Jiangnan, forcibly seized Fang Village’s sacred tree and persecuted its people. Fang La, the village chief, his son Fang Tianding, his younger brother Fang Mao, and his nephew Fang Jie gathered 101 heroes of Jiangnan in the region. Their names corresponded to the Heavenly Star known as the “Star of Human Impulsiveness.” Together, they raised a righteous rebellion against the court. In the end, they were bitterly defeated in their struggle against the Thirty-Six Heavenly Spirits and Seventy-Two Earthly Fiends, leaving behind a stirring tale that condemns the corrupt ruling class and celebrates the heroes of the uprising.
This is a newcomer's first full-length novel, so I'll work hard to update it. You should support yourself, but don't go too far 🙂
The best outcome of this book is that Jiangnan La is successfully pushed to the Song Dynasty, or the other three major bandits are defeated.
