This book is very interesting! It uses a lot of pictures and animated demonstrations, making it easy for people like me who don't know much about textiles to understand. I particularly enjoyed the section on the origins of textiles. The author's questioning of common views in academia was enlightening. However, I kind of hate the "three major techniques of textile system" that always appear in books. It feels so complicated! But overall, this book gave me a deeper understanding of ancient Chinese textile technology and culture, and also made me realize that while working hard to make money for my dreams, we must not forget our traditional culture!
