With the Han and Lu families’ business marriage approaching, Lu Jiaye seeks out Han Shaojing late at night, just to say, “I look forward to working with you!”
Han Shaojing sits there, then suddenly turns his head. His gaze burns as he says, “I hope you mean what you say. Hmm?”
On Christmas Day, Han Shaojing’s birthday, Lu Jiaye leaves a note behind and runs away from home.
It reads: “I can’t look forward to working with you anymore. Let’s end this partnership here, because I can’t pretend this is just a partnership anymore.”
It’s the worst confession Han Shaojing has ever read.
But then a tsunami strikes without warning...
I didn't quite understand it at the beginning, but the rest was okay and worth reading.
