The Lady in the Clouds

The rhinoceros-horn incense burns, and the hibiscus curtains are warm. A beauty beside withered bones, resting with you.

On the first day Yun Yan transmigrates, she is strangled by a bowstring and spends five lonely years in the imperial mausoleum. At last, she meets a handsome young man. After exhausting every means at her disposal, she finally marries him. The rhinoceros-horn incense burns, and after one night of passion, he becomes utterly captivated by her and searches everywhere, unable to find her.

On the third day of the third month, at a spring banquet, an innkeeper dressed as the Flower Goddess becomes the talk of the capital, drawing countless princes and nobles eager to win her favor.

In the forbidden palace, between life and death, she reunites with her beloved, only to be told she is pregnant.

Together, she and her beloved travel to the ends of the earth: Zhaodu, Mount Lu, Cangdu, and Shuoyue City.

Through lives adrift and dreams lost in confusion,

fate draws them onward, blossoms flourish, and Yun Yan’s true identity is about to be revealed.
