A Dream of Qin Lin

[Past and present lives + childhood sweethearts + school life + first love comes true + Spirit Soother] In their previous life, Zhang Xiaobei and Jiang Yue loved each other, but he could only watch helplessly as she married another man. With nothing left to tie him down, he later became a monk and planted a ginkgo tree for her. In this life, Qin Zhijia accompanies Lin Keyan to the foot of that thousand-year-old ginkgo tree. After hearing Zhang Xiaobei and Jiang Yue’s story, Lin Keyan bursts into tears and becomes gloomy. To cheer her up, Qin Zhijia rewrites the ending of their story in two different versions for her. From that day on, she begins to understand love and falls for Qin Zhijia, who has been silently protecting her. During the winter break of ninth grade, Lin Keyan becomes the new Spirit Soother. Spirit Soothers help the dead fulfill the wishes they had in life. For every wish she grants, Lin Keyan can ask her spirit pet to grant one small wish of her own. But she must never tell anyone that she is a Spirit Soother. As she helps the dead fulfill their wishes, Qin Zhijia and Lin Keyan fall into misunderstandings and grow distant. Will these two bickering childhood friends end up missing their chance again, just as they did in their previous life?
