Sildersage is a descendant of a Celestial Dragon and a human. When he was a child, he ate the natural sea fruit and gained the ability to control the sea. In order to find justice, he chose to join the navy. He was in the same navy as Akainu, Aokiji, and Kizaru. He returned ten years after leaving the navy. Because he did not know his own justice, he could only move forward vaguely.

What's a bit strange is that in the pirate world, isn't the word "holy" only used by the Celestial Dragons? This should be the most basic knowledge in the pirate world, why do so many people in the navy act like they don't know it.
