The Tree That Watched Me Grow Up

For Taozi in the story, home is always a shelter from the storm, and her grandmother is the great tree in her heart. Her hometown is a place filled with my own beautiful childhood memories. But life always holds regrets and disappointments. From elementary school through entering the wider world, the protagonists Taozi and Junfeng experience love and life’s great milestones. How will they face partings and death? As one misfortune after another takes its toll, how will Taozi’s personality and inner self gradually change? What will her ever-unyielding nature bring her? When she returns to her hometown and sees how it has changed, she can’t help but sigh: childhood is something you can never go back to. Everything has changed.
