When Heaven and Earth were formed, they divided into six realms: above were Haotian and the Nine Heavens; below were Tongyou and Xuanji; between them were Yuanyang and Shanhe. This story begins in the Shanhe Realm. It is a year of calamity there, with either drought beneath a scorching sky or floods and landslides, while wars rage across the land! Then Panjiao, the Azure Ram, is reborn. By a twist of fate, it befriends extraordinary people from all corners of the world, and together they quell the wars in Shanhe and dispel its calamities.
