National Destiny Forbidden Zone: It's Just Creepy, No Big Deal

My name is Jiang Heng. Yesterday, I celebrated my 80th birthday. A bunch of old buddies who were still hanging on threw a party for me. I got a little excited and had a bit to drink that evening. And then...

This morning, I woke up, went to the bathroom, splashed some water on my face, and nearly swooned at how handsome I looked in the mirror. Who is this...

“Ding~ Hello, Host. I am the Blind Box Lottery System. You have died, and I have selected a new body for you, with the goal of turning you into the most perfect human being...”

Heh, this has to be a hallucination. I'd better crawl back into bed and get some more sleep... I've only just finished living one lifetime. I don't want to do it all over again... I'm dead. Burn paper offerings if you need me.

“Host, Host, this is a new world. I can help you fulfill many of your unfulfilled wishes.”

I snapped my eyes open. A new world? What happened to my great China? As for wishes... With the System's help, maybe they really are possible. Nice.

“Okay, System, I'm alive again!”
