(I've been reading for over twenty years and ran out of books, so I wrote one myself. My writing may be a little rough, but the story is definitely a good one. Newbies, look elsewhere. If you want to read about showing off and face-slapping, look elsewhere too. The seemingly unreasonable parts early on are all planted clues.)
