She's a Handful

(A reserved flower-shop owner vs. a shameless puppy-like lawyer)

Second chances + relentless pursuit

Eight years later, Xu Siwen and Gu Jian meet again.

She keeps pushing him away and avoiding him.

But he keeps finding the strangest excuses to force his way into her life.

Gu Jian: “Can't you give me one more chance?”

Xu Siwen: “No.”

Xu Siwen: “I don't want to bring up the past again. Can't you let it go, too?”

Gu Jian: “No.”

One says “can't,” the other says “won't.” Both make it clear that neither will take no for an answer.

Their attempt at reconciliation falls apart once more.
