“A sword in hand, but none in the heart: that is one who has mastered the sword and nothing more. No matter how polished the sword techniques, they remain restrictive, mere show.”
“A sword in hand and a sword in the heart: that is one whose body and sword have become one. This is the second realm of the sword path, the realm before you comprehend sword intent. You move faster and strike harder, with your thoughts and sword acting as one. Your body becomes the sword, the sword becomes your body, and you can wield it as you please.”
“No sword in hand, but a sword in the heart: that is one whose heart and sword have become one. This is the third realm of the sword path, attainable only by those who have comprehended sword intent. With no sword in hand and a sword in the heart, anything can become a sword. You can shape a sword from intent or from energy. The sword is everywhere, its attacks reach everywhere, and they are impossible to guard against.”
In a small village isolated from the world for decades, a boy named Lin Feng displays extraordinary talent for the sword path. He becomes the first person in decades to leave the village. From then on, with one man and one sword, he battles across the land. Step by step, he avenges his country and family, leads the village out into the world, and rises to the pinnacle of martial arts and the sword path... (One man, one sword, fighting across the nine provinces; he crosses mountains and rivers, leaving his foes slain. The grievances of country and family must be avenged, and his name will endure for all eternity.)
The protagonist, a half-mother, would only point her sword at the forehead of others. She was not decisive enough in killing, and would always leave unnecessary trouble for the follow-up. Other aspects are okay, the description of the sword is quite detailed.
Such a great book, I believe it will become popular slowly. I hope the author will work hard.
Worth a look
