You're a Black Lotus? What a Coincidence, I'm a Fake Green Tea

Oh no! I haven’t even gotten ready to win you over, and you’ve already won yourself over!

A hopeless flirt who thinks she’s a sweet, innocent green tea girl x a cunning, big-dog black lotus

Synopsis:

Chu Kui transmigrates and binds herself to a System, only to learn she’s an obscure background character. According to the plot, she’ll die in a stampede of beasts. To survive, Chu Kui decides to join the protagonists, stick close to the power players, and do whatever it takes to make it to the end.

She never expected that a black-hearted lotus would appear in the otherwise upright and wholesome protagonist group, constantly tripping her up.

Watching the black lotus smile brightly at her, he says sweetly, “Here’s a friendly tip: you’d better stay away from Jiujiu.”

Chu Kui’s pupils tremble, and her heart turns ice-cold. Clutching Tongtong, her little yellow dog, she cries out helplessly inside: Help wanted, urgent! What do I do when the black lotus keeps trying to poison me?

The black lotus isn’t an ordinary person. The only way to deal with someone extraordinary is to fight poison with poison! Chu Kui puts on her fake, bargain-basement green tea act. Bring it on! I’m not scared of you. You’re a black lotus? Well, I’m a fake green tea girl.

So Chu Kui fusses over He Chunlai every day. “Have you eaten this morning? Did you sleep well last night?” Every so often, she brings him some homemade sweets that even she can barely swallow. She’s planning to strike when he’s down and finish him off.

But the black lotus is completely taken in. He can hardly bear to be apart from Chu Kui, and says with his utterly bewitching face, “Chu Kui, Kui, Sunflower, don’t go see Jiujiu. I just want to stay with you forever.”

Chu Kui starts to waver, then suddenly snaps back to herself. “You’re the sunflower! Your whole family’s sunflowers!”
