Synopsis

"Diagnostic Records" was written around 1687 by Chen Shiduo in the Qing Dynasty. The book has 14 volumes, divided into 126 subjects and 776 certificates. Volumes 1 to 10 describe typhoid fever, moderate cold, stroke, paralysis syndrome, etc., Mainly exogenous fever, internal injuries and miscellaneous diseases, and facial diseases; Volumes 11 and 12 describe gynecological diseases; Volume 13 describes surgical diseases; Volume 14 describes pediatric diseases.
