Below her, a huge crowd of humans and youkai had gathered. They wholeheartedly cheered on the blonde sage atop the mountain, for her absolute authority and astonishing wisdom alone were enough to earn such a following. More importantly, she had the power to bring down the entire world with her own strength! Their cries were so full of vitality that every shout seemed to force them to give up a little more of their life force!

The blonde sage held out her hand and placed her parasol in it. With a single gesture, she silenced every youkai and human. Everyone fought to keep their emotions in check. A minute passed, about a minute, and then those emotions would erupt at any moment, pouring out like a mountain flood.

“Have you seen this sage’s power?”

“Have you seen my battle with Toyohime Watatsuki?”

Yukari Yakumo was naturally referring to her battle with the Lunar Princess on the far side of the moon. It had been unimaginably fierce. Even from Gensokyo, they could see the immense life force on the moon’s far side colliding with a power that could split mountains and seas. That power gave the residents of Gensokyo an overwhelming sense of security.
