This book uses real-life examples to illustrate the importance of mathematics. Just like the Sally Clark case mentioned in the book, errors in data led to wrongful convictions. I especially hate the prosecution lawyer. He only selects data that is beneficial to him and has no regard for the truth. However, the experiments in the book are very interesting. By marking the snails to count them, we can understand probability and statistics more intuitively. This book tells us to be skeptical of data and not to blindly trust it.
