The Little Lucky Star Just Wants to Take It Easy in Showbiz

Yu Ling is a koi fish with the temperament of a lazy salted fish.

She has no desire to ascend to immortality. She just wants to keep lazing around and enjoying life.

But perhaps Heaven thought she lacked ambition, because a bolt of lightning came out of nowhere and sent her to another world.

She went from being a little koi spirit with perfect luck to a pitiful girl whose parents didn’t love her.

The poor girl is also a little-known star, constantly hounded by haters.

And she’s destined to play the cannon-fodder supporting woman in a novel, always picking fights with the heroine and meeting a tragic end.

But before long, she realizes that the plot seems to be going a little off track

Her father supposedly doesn’t like her, yet secretly invests in the show she’s appearing on.

Her mother goes on a shopping spree for jewelry and designer dresses, filling her closet to the brim.

Her brother refuses to be outdone and gives her a black card to spend as she pleases.

Faced with a family whose behavior has inexplicably gone off-script

Yu Ling: “...Did I open the wrong script?”
