Yu Ke was born with heterochromia. After she was accidentally stabbed to death, she descended into hell. They say that anyone who makes it through all eighty-one levels of purgatory can be brought back to life. With her intelligence and unusual eyes, she breezed through the trials, gaining cheat after cheat. She wreaked havoc in the underworld, taking down jerks and exposing scheming women, and no one dared lay a finger on her. Everyone thought she had won the King of Hell as her powerful backer, but they never guessed that he was the one clinging to her. He escorted her through purgatory, treasured her in the underworld, and treated her so carefully that he was afraid she might melt in his mouth or break in his hands. What’s more, even the notorious Rakshasa Demon had his eye on her, while she still pined for the senior she had secretly loved for years.
Until one day, the King of Hell could take it no longer. He grabbed her by the wrist, leaned down, and pinned her to the bed, speaking with seductive menace as he tried to talk her into it: “You can only choose one, them or me. If you choose them, I’ll take you right now. If you choose me, I’ll take you later. So choose.”
