After the Original Heroine Is Reborn, the Plot Starts Falling Apart

“Uh... how do I put this? The world you live in is actually a book. You're the original heroine, but not the book's true heroine.”

Su Yunjin froze in place.

Absurd! It was the most absurd thing she had heard since she was reborn.

The thing Su Yunjin regretted most in her previous life was marrying Rong Ci, but after she was reborn, what she wanted most was still to marry him.

In her previous life, an imperial edict had forced her into the bridal sedan. She thought Rong Ci had been just as helpless as she was, but she never expected that his final request would be for someone to place that crabapple blossom in her hands.

“When A Jin sees this flower, she won't be angry anymore.”

Rong Ci left her behind and went to the battlefield. No matter how much she cried and pleaded, he refused to stay. She thought he didn't love her.

But who would deliberately pluck a crabapple blossom from the frontier and give it to someone they didn't love?

She had simply been too immature to understand.

But by then it was too late. When Yunjin finally realized, he had already died far from home, and all that returned was his heavy coffin.

Yunjin kept vigil for him and repented, but someone was determined to wipe them all out.

“There’s nothing I can do. Her Highness says she must have your life!”

Only at the moment of her death did she learn that Rong Ci's death was far from simple. Her family had been caught in the crossfire, too. Someone had set a trap for them long ago.

Su Yunjin looked at the person before her, who had completely overturned everything she thought she knew, and suddenly understood.

No wonder that lady had been able to manipulate them so thoroughly from the start. So she was the so-called “transmigrated heroine” in this book-world.

Hah. Sorry about that. In my previous life, I followed the original plot and ended up utterly shattered.

But this time, I'm going to break the plot.
