Time Paradox

Before reading this book, you can think about the following questions: What is time? Could you use your time more efficiently? We know that wealth has a price, but time is priceless. In "The Psychology of Time," psychologist Philip Zimbardo and his research partner John Boyd conducted an in-depth study of time perspectives and believed that there are six time perspectives: a negative time perspective that focuses on the past, a positive time perspective that focuses on the past, a fatalistic time perspective that focuses on the present, a hedonistic time perspective that focuses on the present, a time perspective that focuses on the future, and a time perspective that transcends the future. Additionally, the study found: 1. Your outlook on time determines your outlook on life 2. An extreme view of time will definitely lead to an unhealthy lifestyle 3. Everyone can adjust their own view of time to have a balanced view of time. A moderate future time outlook plus a present time outlook, supplemented by a fixed positive nostalgic time outlook, is the ideal combined time outlook. If you can flexibly change your view of time according to the situation, you can use your time effectively and live an efficient and healthy life.
