"Why research exoskeleton armor? If we're going to research anything, let's research mechs!"
"Give me a budget of fifty million over three years. If I can't build a mech, I'll resign as director!"
At a military conference, the leader wanted to make a splash, so he made a boast.
The miserable task of developing a mech fell to Chen Fang.
There wasn't much time, and there was no money.
Fortunately, Chen Fang awakened a System.
I'll build that mech.
Three years later, the leader was stunned by the sight of an eighteen-meter-tall mech equipped with energy thrusters and laser weapons.
"I was just boasting. How did you actually build it?"
Mechs are only the beginning: space fighters, plasma weapons, and starships.
Go ahead and make all the boasts you like, Leader. I'll take care of the rest.
