Master, Come Over and Take My Pulse

Given another chance at life, Jie Ran no longer runs away.

She wanders through endless darkness, never having hoped for dawn.

"I only care whether things end the way I want, even if I have to pay for it all."

Yet she never imagined that one day she would hesitate.

A faint light appears in the long night.

What she thought were separate paths turns out to lead to the dawn.

Jie Ran discovers that she has always yearned for the warmth of the light.

With the light throwing itself into her arms, how could she possibly turn it away...?
