The writing style of this book is very unique, the writing is smooth, and the historical details are vividly described, which made me feel like I was in that changing era. I especially like the author's portrayal of the character of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. His talents, strategies and complex character are all portrayed very penetratingly. However, I kind of hate the character Wei Qing, I feel like he's a bit selfish. Overall, this is a great book worth reading!
